These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LumiCut ("the App"), a video editing application for Apple platforms (macOS, iOS, iPadOS). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store Terms of Service.
You retain full ownership of all video, audio, images, and other content that you import into or create with the App. We claim no rights to your content. The App processes your content locally on your device and does not upload, copy, or transmit it to any server.
The App offers optional subscription plans and a one-time lifetime purchase to unlock premium features:
Subscriptions work across all your Apple devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad) when signed in with the same Apple ID.
Lifetime Access grants permanent access to all Pro-tier features that are available in the App at the time of purchase. It does not guarantee future updates, new features, or continued development of the App. Any updates or new features that may be released after your purchase are provided at the sole discretion of LumiCut and are not an obligation.
The App provides basic video editing functionality without a subscription, including styled captions, AI-Frame, and AI Shorts. Free tier users receive 5 AI Coach reports per month. Free exports include a small watermark. Subscribe to Creator or higher to remove the watermark and unlock additional features.
LumiCut reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it), temporarily or permanently, at any time and without prior notice. We are under no obligation to provide updates, enhancements, bug fixes, or new features. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.
Features that rely on third-party frameworks or services (such as Apple's Vision framework, WhisperKit, or on-device speech recognition) may change or become unavailable due to factors outside our control.

The App, including its code, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of LumiCut. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, continuously available, or that the output of any AI-powered feature (such as subtitle generation, AI-Frame, or AI Coach) will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LumiCut shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including but not limited to any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App or any of its features.
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their refund policies. LumiCut does not process refunds directly.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LumiCut from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
These Terms supplement and are in addition to Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for apps distributed via the App Store. In the event of a conflict, Apple's EULA takes precedence to the extent required by Apple.
